Local amenities
The city of Oxford, whose centre is less than fifteen minutes’ walk from
the college, has all of the social and cultural amenities of a major university
city, with a great variety of shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, etc.
The University swimming pool and sports centre, which all students are entitled to join, are within a short walk from the college.
There is a large shopping centre in nearby Cowley and many strikingly beautiful
towns and villages in the Cotswolds - only a short car journey away. There
are several excellent schools in the locality.
