Library
The college library provides the books that students need in each of the
core areas of theological study. It is supervised by a professional librarian
and constantly updated. It also houses impressive collections of Anglo-Catholic
writing.
St Stephen’s House is situated within fifteen minutes’ walk of the Bodleian Library, the main research library of the University of Oxford. The Bodleian is a copyright library, with a vast collection of books from the United Kingdom and overseas. It is used by scholars from around the world. Almost any book from the collection can be ordered electronically and will be delivered within a few hours to the reader’s choice of reading room.
The librarian maintains a St Stephen's House Library Blog.
The Theology Faculty library in central Oxford is a helpful resource from
which books can be borrowed and the nearby Pusey House library offers specialist
collections and a beautiful reading room.
